Meet the Team at Hancock and Partners Estate Agents

As Managing Director of Hancock and Partners, I am delighted to be heading up this independent estate agents in Chichester as we approach our 30th anniversary next year.  I first joined Hancock and Partners 10 years ago and it is exciting to be leading the re-launch of the business at 5 Northgate in Chichester with Jennie and Richard (Hancock).

My priorities

My immediate priority has been looking to help our landlords during this difficult period, and beyond. We all agreed that it was important to have the best possible technology to provide the highest standard of service and provide seamless support to our landlords and tenants.

The entire team have laptops with docking stations in the office, so they can work from any of the office desks as well as from home. All the office phones are integrated with the laptops so when they ring in the office they also ring on the laptops and can be answered promptly if people are working from home.

We were also the first estate agent locally to provide virtual tours for prospective tenants to be able to view all vacant properties, which we consider a huge advantage for our landlords.

Support for landlords

Since our re-launch on April 1st, we have also increased the numbers of new landlords appointing us to manage their properties. Many clients have taken the time recently to evaluate management fees and consider the payments they make relative to the standard of service they receive from their letting agent. At Hancock and Partners, the high level of experience within the team means we can support landlords whether it is providing a market appraisal, advising on ever changing landlord legislation, minimising void periods or managing maintenance work in their properties.

How we manage West Sussex rental properties

Hancock and Partners are involved with all levels of property rentals. We specialise in high- end property management for city, country and coastal properties where the landlords rely on us to look after their investment.  Many of these properties are from what we class ‘accidental’ landlords; these are clients who often inherit family homes, whilst they consider a future sale. These clients often continue to let these rental properties for many years whilst the family contemplate the future plans for the inherited property.

How you can benefit from our experience

Our team have between 10 to 30 years’ experience, so our landlords and tenants benefit from knowledgeable property professionals, who know how to progress tenancies smoothly, how to fine-tune the need for particular contractors or specialists and provide troubleshooting on behalf of the landlord.

As we manage portfolios of properties throughout West Sussex and Hampshire, our established team has positioned us to offer a quick response time, competitive contractor prices and the ability to offer a favourable letting and management fee.
