Richard Hancock
Founding Director, BA(Hons)REV CPEA FNAEA MARLA FPCS
Richard Hancock has lived and worked in and around Chichester all his life, beginning his career in the property industry at Savills after selling the family farm on which he grew up. Property has been at his heart ever since. In 1991 Richard and his wife Jennie Hancock formed Hancock and Partners and grew the company to become one the most successful independent Chichester Estate and Lettings agents.
Richard is a Fellow of the Property Consultants Society and member of ARLA Propertymark, the UK’s foremost professional and regulatory body for letting agents. Richard stays abreast of the ever-changing legislation in the property industry, being at the forefront of the industry undertaking “Continuing Professional Development” (CPD), where it is taken seriously applying the latest knowledge to provide ongoing improvements in standards of service to his clients at Hancock and Partners.
Richard is a keen skier and likes to head to the slopes with his family, and when at home, he enjoys walking his Labrador dogs
Samantha Love
Managing Director, BSc (Hons) MARLA ANAEA
Managing Director Sam Love grew up in Hertfordshire, but her love of sailing brought her down to the South Coast after graduating with a Maths Degree from Reading University. Sam joined Hancock and Partners in 2010 excelling in both the residential sales and lettings departments before taking up the helm as Managing Director. She has a detailed understanding of the two markets and extensive knowledge of the local area.
When not at work she is usually to be found racing her yacht in the Solent.
Simone Procter
Lettings Manager
Having been born in Chichester and emigrating to Sydney as a young child, Simone returned to Chichester in her 20’s to settle down. With 15 years’ experience and knowledge of the property and lettings market in and around Chichester, her local knowledge is exceptional. Simone heads up the Lettings Department at Hancock and Partners and with her incredibly friendly and welcoming approach, she is a valued member of the team.
Louise Clack
Head of Property Management
Louise started her career in property aged 17 when she moved from London with her family to West Sussex and began working for an independent agent in Bognor as a Trainee Sales Negotiator. She then followed her other passion into publishing, where she worked for 11 years for the Chichester Observer group of newspapers as an Editorial Assistant, but her love of property continued and she took on her first Property Manager role in 2012 and has not looked back since.
In her spare time Louise enjoy camping and countryside walks with her husband and dog.
Joel Cross
Branch Manager
Joel started his property journey when he was 18 years old. Having spent his childhood and teenage years travelling to and from Chichester and Surrey. He was drawn to and settled in the beauty of West Sussex to raise his family together with his wife. With several years of Estate Agency experience, Joel can offer a steady hand to guide you through one of life’s most exciting decisions. Joel promises to each of his clients honesty and dedication throughout the whole process.
In his spare time, he enjoys playing and watching football but most of all spending time with his family
Sinead Cross
Lettings Administrator
Sinead began her career early, spending five years in a salon where she became a qualified hairdresser. In 2019, she made a career change and stepped into the property world as a lettings negotiator. After taking some time out to start a family with her husband, Sinead is now back in the property industry and loving it. She enjoys getting stuck into files, staying organised, and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
When she’s not at work, she’s busy entertaining her two young children — a full-time job in itself!
Jonny Crow
Sales Manager
Jonny returned to Hancock and Partners after a short stint away and brings a wealth of experience and local market knowledge having worked in Chichester as an agent for over 15 years. Jonny prides himself on his proactive, sympathetic, and friendly approach which serves him well while out valuing. Whether selling or buying, whatever the question, Jonny should have the answer or knows someone that does.
Jonny has always lived locally and away from work enjoys football, tennis and spending time with his three young children.

Katy grew up in West Sussex and moved to Chichester in 2014 to raise a family with her husband. She is friendly and approachable and likes meeting new people. Katy most likes spending time with her children, interior design and enjoying live music.
